- Provide market / territory intelligence for strategy development & market mapping (strategic customers / key opinion leaders, industries, distributors & competitors).
- Identify opportunities for growth.
- Work closely with the Account Manager & marketing
to widen the sales funnel.
- Act as a ZEISS ambassador & promote the brand.
- Generate new leads & opportunities through networking & building relationships.
- Qualify leads.
- Maximize win probability by systematically progressing opportunities through the sales stages: Understand, Propose, Negotiate and Decide.
- Prepare quotations
- Negotiate and win orders, involve support where needed
- Ensure high standards of customer relationship management
- Support and serve customers, even beyond the scope of sale’s responsibility
- Frequent customer visits, both potential and existing customers (tracked through CRM follow-up activities)
- Ensure customer satisfaction by working closely with Administration,Applications and Service team for order fulfillment
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company
