 Assist MSD Manager to establish the competences gaps and development requirements of the marketing function.
 Assist MSD Manager to develop a training and development strategy for the marketing staff and business partners.
 Plan and deliver development programs from applying global program to develop local program in order to provide the opportunities for the team to learn. and improve their performance and to ensure BAT best practises are consistently applied and integrated into local organisation.
 Be fully responsible for following up/first point of contact or supports on implementation of all BAT best practice learning interventions and other functional trainings.
 Assist MSD Manager during training course cascade down.
 Act as a facilitator to prepare Sales Field Force training, from designing/preparation of training materials to delivery the courses on time in full.
 Conduct in-house core training / coaching programs for Field-force staffs in in-charged area as well as supported-areas.
 Help to identify and develop talent programs, evaluate the training courses and plan the improvement plan to meet the training target.
 Be responsible for detail planning and executing activities campaign.

Job Purpose and key Deliverables
Job Purpose:
Assist in the development, communication and implementation of Brand Strategies and consumer engagement activities which are aligned to Marketing, Brand Portfolio and Consumer Space strategies and which will assist in the achievement of brand objectives.
Key Deliverables:
Business:
• Support the execution of brand plans and consumer engagement activities to ensure the brand objectives are achieved.
• Adhere to the Global Brand Governance matrix, seeking appropriate governance and oversight line with the Brand global portfolio positioning.
• Support the definition of brand vision, strategy positioning and marketing mix including pack and product specification and communications, in line with brand strategies.
• Analyze market research data to understand Brand issues and market opportunities.
• Compile and prepare documents for Brand projects and brand performance are on time in full.
• Track and monitor brand implementation, performance from both internal & external available resources to ensure agreed brand activities are effectively executed and brand issues to be fully captured.
• Monitor and report Brand Support Expenditure (BSE) to ensure it does not exceed budget defined in operational brand plan.
People:
• Handle communication between Brand Marketing and other inter-departmental functions to ensure the cycle plan is effectively executed and Brand programs are effectively implemented in the field force.
• Monitor external agencies to ensure day-to-day activities related to Brand programs are performed with required quality and agreed cost & timescales as defined in operational brand plan.
• Self-Development by developing understanding & appreciation of the brand strategies among the Trade Marketing & Distribution (TM&D) team through sharing and feedback session.
• Participate in the origination, evaluation and implementation of new, innovate ideas.

PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Provide a reliable and efficient research support and Sustainable tobacco program (STP) service to Leaf production staff in order to achieve improved .
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Establish high yielding and good quality tobacco varieties or different environmental conditions with the recommendation of Agronomy/Leaf R&D manager
· Develop and introduce low cost and improved production practices to meet the quality, quantity, cost and yield benefits through research activities.
· Execute trials to recommend fertilizer and other crop inputs for better yield quality of tobacco within the cost an environmental limitations.
· Support field staff to achieve crop production objectives.
· Organise extension staff training and farmer training materials.
· Plan and introduce farmer awareness programs.
· Ensure seed collection and establish good in seed collection process and built up the tobacco seed stocks to meet department’s requirement.
· Take customer feedback of the trials conducted and keep recoded for future benefits.
· Ensure STP requirements are met and assist the line manager in coordinating the activities
· Respond on invest material thru project demonstration
· Assist Agronomy manager in the risk assessment process.
· Provide necessary support in identification process of suitable areas (low Chloride areas) to expand the cultivation by way of testing soils
· Maintain good relationship with research organisations, chemical agencies, government officials, Universities etc.

• Develop and implement a trade coverage plan for the area.
• Ensure that objectives in terms of availability, visibility, volume and customer price of
products are achieved for the area.
• Develop and implement an area operational plan in line with the regional operational plan.
• Coordinate implementation of brand and trade programmed in the area, quickly reacting
against competitive threats if necessary.
• Ability to drive efficiency through continues improvement on daily operations, such as reduce complicacy, set priority, or increase efficiency and minimize bad stock.
• Responsible for internal control and compliance procedures to comply with company policies & minimize risks.
• Ensure effective management of the ASMO financial accounts and assets to ensure that Trade Marketing & Distribution resources are secure and utilize productively according to company approved budgets and guidelines
• Manage and build close business relationship with key customers in the area.
• Manage, train, inform and motivate the TM&D Executive and Representative in order to deliver trade marketing and distribution activities that are superior to the competition.
• Propose goals and KPIs for the programmes implemented in the area and track ongoing results.
• Generate/ gather ideas from customers and consumers in order to enhance and customize trade programmes.
• Coordinate promotional activities through the regional promotions team while consistently follow up with the regional promotional team.
• Play as key implementer for training and development plan and make sure they would translate all learning to the daily operation.
• Leverage understanding of customers (retail and wholesale) / consumers to inform business decision through quickly identifying and seeking advantage for the business
• Undertakes a capability gap analysis and develops an appropriate training plan; provides the necessary coaching and support to ensure the skill and knowledge levels which exist within the team are relevant to the needs of the business and delivery of the plan.
