Key accountabilities:
1. Business:
• Identify critical capability areas and key competencies to be developed in alignment with the organisations desired future state for field force.
• Ensure quality development plans and targeted learning and development solutions are deployed to address areas for improvement for regional field force.
• Manage the smooth implementation of all Learning and Development Initiatives for regional workforce includes: POSITIVE, My PEAK, MPZ… and other learning and development programs.
• Proactively analyse and design appropriate learning and development interventions that support for field force performance improvement.
• Cooperate with SMEs for learning contents localization.
• Effectively maintain learning & development budget to ensure that resources are used in the most efficient manner.
2. People Results:
• Drive induction of new hires and continuous development of field force.
• Create buy-in, excitement and commitment in the local / business unit leadership team for capability development.
• Drive the development of facilitating and coaching skills across regional line management to embed 70-20-10 principle of learning.
• Timely evaluation and feedback on the effectiveness & efficiency of all development programmes.
• Promote coaching culture.
3. Relationship:
Internal
• The principal focus is on the establishment of a close working relationship with all Marketing people.
• Continuously build close working relationship with Field Force (both managers and non-management level) across 4 regions of Vietnam.
• In regular cooperation with HRBP.
External
• Other important contacts are distributor/ staff & external training agency network and MSD network.
4. Innovation:
• Seek to constantly upgrade the evaluation methodology in assessing the marketing staff development progress in order to feedback to the line management on performance improvements and areas to be addressed.
• Assist MSD Manager to develop training methodologies, enhancing integration and maximum take out from each programmes.

ROLES:
• Responsible in driving for the performance of assigned territory by planning and leading sales team to effectively implement all sales activities.
• Manage and implement all Trade marketing activities with selected outlets within owned territory
Key accountabilities:
1. Distributors relationship management (for provinces)
• Communicate and align with distributors on monthly target
• Work side by side with distributor to deliver set target: shipment, warehouse
• Review monthly performance, work out incentive and follow up with its payment to distributor.
• Work with logistics, warehouse team to ensure sufficient stock and stock management
• Guide, monitor and control the application and implementation of distributor on warehouse & stock management , office decor, reporting system
2. Sales team management
Sales operation:
• Ensure Trade Coverage Plan, call frequency & outlet call plan in place for DSRs in respective territory
• Drive DSRs team to ensure achievement of monthly volume, distribution & OOS, freshness targets for the respective territory
• Incorporate work with HR and training team to do the assessment, work out development plan for all team member and drive for implementation
• Ensure all data collected to reporting system is on time, accurate and consistent
• Collect market information and propose activity to capture the opportunity
• Implement and drive for the success of wholesalers in respective territory.
Trade marketing:
• Responsible for implementation of all Trade Activities
• Develop and implement Visibility Coverage plan
• Monitor and feedback on the effectiveness of Consumer Engagement Activities
• Build up and maintain good working relationship with outlet owners
• Collect and update outlet’s information by implement Call Visit compliancy as per plan
KPI:
• Sales volume, distribution, OOS target
• Stock sufficiency and stock freshness
• Quality of execution on Trade Marketing Activities within assigned outlets
• People development

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Operational
- Provide effective technical services in term of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic for VINA -BAT Joint Venture - SMD and assist the manager to ensure the production machinery is in good condition. Extend support to PMD JV and 3 licensed factories when needed.
o Carry out trouble shooting and fix technical issue to ensure lowest down time and loss. Ensure OTIF and speed to market.
o Timely calibrate machines / conduct centre line calibration to make sure all settings are at the optimised level and machine deliver highest quality and volume.
- Accountable for production machinery maintenance:
o Plan for maintenance programme and carry out Plan as per schedule. Ensure all maintenance plan are aligned with regional IWS programme
o Plan for necessary fast moving and insurance spares need to be stocked for machine consumption, identify obsolete part then propose the back up for plan to upgrade which is comply with group technology footprint.
- Accountable for data analysis for production efficiency loss and carry out improvement.
o Do loss analysis base on production performance on daily, weekly and monthly basic
o Root cause investigation and propose the improvement plan.
o Coordinate with other team and implement improvement plan to improve the performance losses.
o Conduct one point lesson learn on weekly basic to expand improvement throughout all production lines and other licensed SMD in Vietnam.
- Accountable for machinery installation, and machine modification to support NPI with new product packaging and new product launch
o Work with OEMs for machine installation and carry out the machine installation for all production line within Vietnam and other BAT factories when required.
o Work with OEM and NPI for new product packaging requirements and install changes to support NPI
o Work with EOM for machine upgrade per BAT technology foot print.
- To support Operator to operate machinery when necessary.
- Support Shift leader for implementation all Operations strategy to production floor
- Back up Shift Leader when shift leader is on leave or on travel
Leadership
- Propose & get buy-in from line manager for technical development plan to enhance both technical skill and leadership capability for operators.
- Engage with management of licensed factories for continue improvement for production machinery.
- Representative in interactions with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams on Engineering/process development and projects.
- Acquired experience from technical projects
- Improve self-confident from working with factory management
- Support production shift leaders to optimize machine performance at high efficiency and volume output.
Management
- Ensure the technical data are collected & timely report to manager.
- Ensure the preventive maintenance of production machinery is executive as plan & align with PI&T requirement.
- Well control and monitor the spare parts usage to ensure the stock level is sufficient to support machine operation.
- Conduct effective technical training and coaching for staff to excel in their work.
- Application of formal project management approach when developing Engineering solutions or continuous improvement.
- Planning – Short term workload is to effectively plan to deliver maintenance objectives.
- Budget – Track spend for maintenance. Adhere to financial process and controls.
- Understands, promotes and applies their responsibilities under the EH&S policy particular in an engineering context.
Relationships
- Internal: Maintain good & effective working relationship within BATV, BAT-Vinataba JV & Vina-BAT JV
- External: Strengthen good relationship with OEMs, local Suppliers and especial with operative staffs from licensed factories and JV.
Innovation
- Embed run to target culture and always looking for higher quality, higher performance and lowest possible cost.
- Create new initiatives/approaches/solutions to technology/product/material challenges.
- Seek and implement innovative ideas from the team to improve product quality & productivity.
- Interpret output of technical work and makes recommendations for future engineering process developments.
