We are a start up company offering new type of co-working space. The first one will be open in late October. The company is expected to open multiple shops in 2018. We are now hiring the full time members for our venture. Brand philosophy: Chidori is a mindfulness brand. We care about the environment, our mind and our lives. We serve the Millennials because they are the ones who need it the most. Chidori is not merely a cafe or co-working space, but we aspire to be the mindfulness brand which can offer delight, refresh and inspiration for millennial generation who love to seek for the purpose of living and discover the “why” we do things. Millennial generation is the one most actively seeking for the purpose of living, and trying to redefine the previous norms of why we work, why we live, why we build relationships. Born with ample of necessary things already in place, it's a natural course of action. We tend to face the reality and redefine the philosophy of life by our own terms more than the previous generations. Therefore, we think the life of millennials are somewhat similar to exploration and adventure. Once decided to go on a trip to find the purpose of living, we do it until we find it. Just like what Columbus did to discover America. That's why we nicknamed the millennials a “generation of travel”. Chidori is the first mindfulness brand from Japan which purely focus on the needs of generation of travel. Chidori offers healthy foods and drinks as well as semi-private boxes where you can meditate, read, watch netflix, concentrate on work, sometimes take a nap. We know generation of travel need social, LOHAS and great experience rather than expensive stuffs, but they are obsessed with multi-tasking, quickness and convenience. That’s why Chidori is focusing on the space where we can relax the mind. We plan to make multiple locations in 2018. Brand name story: The name Chidori derives from a bird called chidori in Japanese (the similar kind is called “a plover” in English, but not exactly the same kind. So please allow me to use Chidori.) which has been referred frequently in traditional Japanese fairy tales and has been the familiar patterns in Japanese traditional designs. In Japan, we largely define the birds between the resident-bird and the migrant-bird. The former means this group of birds stay in one particular area throughout the year. On the other hand, the latter means this group of birds moves around the place of residence according to their needs and the preferred weather. Particularly, the Chidori categorized as one of the migrant-bird groups which most frequently travel around the places of residence therefore it's rare to see them. We believe the nature and characteristics of Chidori and the generation of travel(the millennials) are alike. Therefore, we silhouette generation of travel on Chidori. Description of the product in few sentence 1. The first mindfulness brand in HCM where personalized services are offered as a member of the community. 2. Premium cafe with semi-private boxes where you can concentrate on work and relax more than any other coffee shops. 3. The product would be on the higher end of the spectrum.
