* Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Base on high-level knowledge about Distribution channels, both traditional like Brokers, Agents, Travel Agencies.. and emerging ones like Airlines, Banks, Retails, digital space... and other related market‘s competitive landscape, Chubb’s capability and business model, formulate and execute the strategy & action plan for North Vietnam’s business development through all distribution channels which reflect through set of measurable business objectives for all business partners.
• Liaise with Regional & Local Teams to build up effective distribution channels in North Vietnam .
• Support other A&H/IPL BDMs in HCMC on coordinating with partners in the North.
• Be responsible for related system set up in Vietnam to grow the business, with the support from local and regional teams where necessary.
• Proactively initiate and coordinates with business partners in identifying, evaluating and responding to their business opportunities and needs. Coordinates with all product underwriting personnel, at Country and Regional Level to enhance the existing products, to design new products, and to finalize the solicitation material.
• Closely manage and serve the assigned business partners to meet the business objectives and the set of company’s financial requirement.
• Keep identifying new business opportunities in the market place as well as threats that can impact Chubb‘ business and come up with action plan.
• Develop and maintain positive and substantive dialogues with internal business partners and master on Chubb’s products and operations.
• Assists with the production of standard reports on a regular basis as required.
• Develop and maintain a continuous program of self-improvement in conjunction with relevant management.
• Generally create an Chubb market presence by active participation in the development of Chubb Vietnam.
• Oversee to develop the IPL business through all Distribution Channels
• Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned
* Skills:
• Good Selling skill and Project management skill are required
• Ability to conduct the insurance training courses to equip our Partners/ Sponsors/ Sales Network’s employees with general insurance knowledge and Chubb Insurance products to market and sell A&H/ IPL products
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and successfully execute objectives with minimal supervision.
• Well-organized and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task, handle pressure and resolve problems
• Ability to present to internal/ external groups and influence strategic direction.
• Knowledge, skills and abilities – proficient user in MS Excel skills, preferred if have some knowledge of MS ACCESS, good communication skills, excellent time management skills
• Excellent writing, interpersonal and communication skills. Good written and spoken English is essential
* Experience & External Relationships:
• Years of experience 5 years or more in the insurance industry and relevant industries
• Relationships with Affinity Groups, Retail chains, Airlines, Travel Agents, Tour Operators, Brokers, Corporate Agents, Financial Institutes, all kind of service providers, alternative distribution channels and business partners as appropriate
* Qualifications:
• Education – Bachelor or Master Degree in Economic/ Trading/ Business management/ or related fields
