Equipment Engineer

• To perform equipment maintenance and improvements which are to be attained through practical use of statistical tool methods, data extraction and analysis.
• Understand production process, operation manual, manufacturing standards, relevant documents in manufacturing process substrate from front end to back end.
• To perform repair equipment when any abnormality in equipment is detected to minimize the down time to support production.
• Identify, install and calibrate equipment when new machine or process set up and also in charge of study the process and operations to create the work instruction, check sheet and procedure to training for production operator.
• Understand and apply good skills about: SPC, PDCA, 5W-1H, CI, FMEA, into repairing & maintenance equipment.
• To conduct machine life span studies and equipment maintenance cost reduction.
• Ownership and support with other department on operational indicators such as safety, machine productivities (OEE), improvement the yield, cost saving, machine defect reduction and met the KPIs items.
• Support process and engineering development for NPI (New Product Introduction)
• Complies with Vietnam law, Company regulations, EICC, EHS, CoBC, ISO, 5S,v.v...; and monitor, remind, help our colleagues in compliance with Vietnam law, Company regulations, EICC, EHS, CoBC, ISO, 5S,v.v...
• Manage inventory control of all the stock items to meet department budget and in cases where there is over usage, need to investigate the cause and define preventive action.
• Maintain safe work practices.
• Ensure identified labor, ethics and EHS issues are corrected in a timely manner
• Recommended to participate and be a part of the ERT Team for the site.
• Other duties as assigned.
