1. Events Coordinator:
Essential duties for the Events & Marketing Coordinator include but are not limited to:
- Provide budget input for programs as assigned by the Centre Manager;
- Supervise activities to meet program objectives concerning quality, safety, and
cleanliness;
- Implement and collect quarterly program evaluations for programs and events;
- Oversee necessary requirements for team play such as scorekeepers, referees, umpires,
field and facility use;
- Oversee necessary requirements for special events including entertainment contracts,
vendor contracts, and payment processing for entry fees;
- Assign part-time staffs, volunteers and contracted services for all programs and events;
- Timely promote programs via common or assigned processes such as but not limited to: flyers, radio, center brochure, newsletters, sign boards, joint promotions, other,...
- Order and maintain equipment;
- Develop and submit playing schedules in advance of programs;
- Provide safety monitoring of events;
- Oversee team fees and collection;
- Submit referee, and umpire reimbursements.
- Training, and place Part- time staffs, volunteers,.. to support programs, leagues, and events;
- Submit team scores to media sources;
- Provide daily safety inspections of the facilities, and report concerns to the Centre Manager or immediate higher supervising level;
- Maintain cleanliness of fitness facility;
- Make and/or coordinate repairs of fitness facility equipment;
- To maintain attendance and activity reports;
- Oversee and update participant required forms;
- Work with Centre Manager and community partners to identify event trends and implement
successful new events.
- Report the Centre Manager in a timely matter as to any concerns regarding operations;
- To successfully perform within work team dynamics.
- Other duties as assigned by the Centre Manager.
2. Café JUMP:
- Endeavour to resolve all complaints during shift and logs all complaints in log book for further follow up;
- Supervise cash handling and banking procedures;
- Prepare daily banking and/or cash flow reports;
- Establish and instruct part-time staff in cash security procedures;
- Deal with irregular payments;
- Supervise the maintenance of service equipment;
- Monitor standards of guest facilities and services;
- Control stock and monitor security procedures;
- Assist with menu and wine list creation;
- Supervise functions;
- Supervise outlet service;
- Works with Superior on manpower planning and management needs;
- Works with Superior in the preparation and management of the Center’s budget;
- Be responsible in keeping our property safe and secure, to participate in any Center activity related to Fire Life safety;
- Hygiene: Directs the team to follow the center hygiene standards. Ensure immediate follow up for areas which do not meet the standards;
- Perform any other duties which may be assigned by the management from time to time.
