- Build and manage Company Engineering Strategic Planning
- Build and manage the strategies and activities of the engineering department to help achieve revenue growth and profitability objectives.
- Review and Optimize Maintenance Plans with Region team
- Provide direction for annual, quarterly, weekly and daily maitenance plans, including - Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance and Condition based Maintenance
- Provide technical expertise to optimize maintenance plans, spare part usage while ensuring high overall machine efficiency
- Develop guideline of BEC (Basic Equipment Care) for Operators including standardized CLIT procedure (Cleaning, Lubrication, Inspection and Tightening)
- Manage nationwide Spare Part usage
- Manage rules of setting spare part in system including Min, Max, Re-order based on criticalness
- Manage the centralized spare parts nationwide
- Manage spare part inventory stock to meet company target
- Standardize Engineering SOPs and develop factory 4.0
- Standardize all Engineering SOPs nationwide
- Develop roadmap to achieve factory 4.0
- Build network of automation outsourcing
- Design new line setup
- Direct, review and approve new product line layout to meet business strategy
- Advise critical technical issue during line setup
- Manage machine trouble-shooting and downtime
- Provide direction and engineering inputs for machine’s downtime analysis and solutions for improvement
- Advise region to solve critical machine issues
- Develop people capability
- Mentor and develop capability of Engineering team with defined framework (e.g. SCFX) in order to further their career development and value to the company
- Coordinate with CD team to build capability of SME Machine and Production Operator
