-Provide direction and leadership to events, creative and promotional support teams to generate maximum market awareness. Work with Field Force and promotional team to develop and implement strategies, portfolio development plans and positioning and messaging plans consistent with both corporate and business unit branding platforms.
-Form informal networks with company senior management, updating them on a regular basis on developments related to the position, and working with them on cross-functional projects.
-Develop ongoing liaison with key opinion leaders, patient support groups and other healthcare organisations to ensure that significant developments in the field are identified and monitored.
-Ensure effective team communication throughout the promotional department through the application of suitable reporting systems and structures and the identification and provision of appropriate training.
-Coaching of Product Managers and all direct subordinates in various aspects of operation (eg HR
issues, budgets, resource allocation), Performance evaluation and motivation of subordinates;
-Coordinate pharmacovigilance duties & give full support to the local pharmacovigilance team
-Work effectively with international colleagues to collaborate on strategic evolution of the product, campaign development and competitiveness.
-Interact frequently with Field Force Management to (a) implement strategies associated with the approved business plans and to ensure promotional programs support their direct and indirect needs and drive top-line growth (b) identify, generate and follow-up on opportunities and project needs to help direct customer’s decision. Present information to potential accounts, including market research, scientific and technical data. Develop co-op promotional programs with customers to support their launch programs.
-Keep abreast of current competitive activities and supply chain implications.
-Initiate and lead cross-functional team support for business development of product line.
