Be able to teach and show all of the above teams to handle multiple tasks, whether it be data inputting, phone operating, make appointments, payment transactions, solve guest & members concerns, have excellent organizational, interpersonal, motivational and communication, skills.
Be a self starter, be professional, honest, have excellent integrity and work ethic, be responsible for following all company polices and procedures, be able to work flexible hours, be a team building, self starter – take direction from Operation Director.
Will be the direct/indirect supervisor of the following departments:
Customer Service & Reception
Technical Knowledge – Fitness, GX, Yoga, etc
House Keeping Department: Maintenance and Cleaning of entire Center and Equipment& Maintenance.
Juice Bar, Pro Shop
Security Department
Membership Consultant
Assistant Manager/Supervisor
Coordinate, Promote & Create Join Membership and Promotion with Elite Spa and Spa Manager.
Work with above listed departments to carry out staff training and development.
Conduct employee evaluations with the Assistant Manager on the above listed departments.
Conduct discipline interviews for all problems that arise with the above listed departments and
Take any disciplinary action necessary.
Interview, hire and train new Instructors, Attendants Membership Consultant and other when necessary.
Interview, hire and train other staff when necessary.
Work with the staff to establish new programs and to evaluate current programs with respect to profitability and meeting members needs.
Communicate regularly with the Membership Consultant as to progress of membership sales and potential leads.
Develop good communication among employees and members.
Work diligently to keep up club morale.
Actively sell memberships. Bring more bodies in.
Organize and attend weekly staff/management meetings.
To actively look at where the center can improve revenues and cut expenses without taking away services from members. Take nothing for granted check everything.
Keep abreast of industry trends through readings, communication with other clubs and by attending industry, seminars and meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Director, Clubs Director
