Yêu cầu

* ROLE PROFILE:
- Be an active participant in environmental and social field investigations – including monitoring undertaking environmental data collection and assisting ERM’s social consultants in undertaking socio-economic baseline assessments;
- Gain technical knowledge of the processes pertaining to the collection of baseline environmental and social data, and move onto developing understanding of how impacts are modeled and assessed;
- Learn how to examine possible environmental and social impacts caused by a planned project;
- Focus on developing reporting skills with regards to environmental and social impact assessment and management plans;
- Work with ERM Vietnam office and other offices as requested in undertaking GIS, remote sensing and spatial analysis of Projects;
- Provide support in undertaking data modelling in a discipline such as hydrology, air quality and noise;
- Provide support in undertaking research and data analysis for the CL2 and CL3 environmental and social consultants with the IAP team;
- Work with the PATS team in developing skills for undertaking Phase One and Phase Two contaminated sites assessment; and
- As this position will be partly focused on gathering of baseline data, long periods may be required in the field – this can be upwards of two weeks at any one time.
* QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree in a discipline such as environmental science or social science or environmental planning;
- Master’s Degree in a technical environmental or social related discipline preferable
- Familiarity with international standards such as the Word Banks’ Operational Policies, the IFC’s Performance Standards, the Asian Development Banks Safeguard Policies and the Equator Principles is preferable;
- Experience in managing projects and proposals;
- Minimum of five years’ work experience in a related field preferable
- Good communication skills and capacity to work as part of an integrated and multidisciplinary team;
- Vietnamese (native) and full English working capabilities is essential.
