We are looking for a Social Media Communications Officer, who can own the evolution and execution of the company’s marketing strategy for social media with the objective to deliver increases in brand awareness, customer engagement and sales.
* Strategy:
- Work with the management team to develop the media strategy for Copenhagen Delights’ owned and un-owned social spaces and other media.
- Effective adoption of relevant social media techniques into the company’s products and services.
- Define a blogger engagement strategy; ensure clarity of ownership and create joint ventures.
- By analysing the media landscape, define which key media estates, including social media where Copenhagen Delights should have a brand presence beyond those that are already developed.
- Develop the key metrics for success and a framework for how we will measure them.
* Planning:
- Plan the activity calendar and make sure there is consistency in messaging across all content channels.
- As appropriate, identify and execute plans and activities required to achieve the success metrics. For example:
+ Plan campaigns and initiatives to drive the social channels, briefing a social agency to support if it is required.
+ Co-ordinate competitions on social channels: sourcing and sending out prizes, briefing design, and promoting.
- Evaluate whether 3rd party agencies can add value to the strategy. Establish partnerships if appropriate.
- Record best practice processes and systems to support all service responses and opportunities within social channels.
- Evolve the functionality and capabilities of profile pages, working with the design team to optimise the customers’ experience.
* Execution:
- Ensure all owned social channels reflect the style and personality of the Copenhagen Delights brand.
- Launch and test the engagement of customers, brand advocacy and the impact of conversation within forums.
- To instigate and host conversations with users on social channels.
- Stay up-to-date with competitor social activity and industry developments to ensure Copenhagen Delights remains innovative and competitive.
- Report on the performance of the media strategy against the agreed performance framework, including any specific channel campaigns.
- Identify opportunities to encourage customers to visit the website and purchase with relevant content and messaging.
- Work with the Product Development team to ensure social media tools (for ex. FB connect, Sharing buttons) are kept up to date.
- Ensuring brand style, tone and personality are expressed appropriately through every channel.
- Optimising all work for search engines, to drive greater reach and visits to the website.
