Mô tả công việc

1. Machine Operation & Performance

Operate and supervise Meyer 120 LDS4/KFS or equivalent color sorting machines.
Set and adjust machine parameters (color shades, sensitivity, defect categories).
Monitor rejection accuracy to achieve ≥ 98% defect removal.
Coordinate with maintenance team for calibration, troubleshooting, and repair.
Track and reduce machine downtime to ensure ≥ 98% uptime.

2. Quality Control

Conduct visual inspections, sampling, and comparison against QC quality standards.
Minimize under-rejections (defects remaining) and over-rejections (excess good kernels removed).
Work closely with QC to validate grades, identify issues, and implement corrective action.
Ensure kernel uniformity and consistent output quality for export.

3. Manpower Management

Lead and supervise a team of 4–6 operators and helpers.
Plan manpower allocation per shift to meet daily production requirements.
Train new staff on machine operation, hygiene practices, and SOPs.
Ensure operators follow standard procedures and safety rules.

4. Production Planning & Reporting

Follow the production plan and ensure daily/weekly/monthly sorting targets are met.
Track input vs output weight for mass-balance accuracy.
Maintain logs of machine settings, downtime, rejection rates, and shift output.
Submit daily shift reports on time with complete and accurate data.

5. Hygiene & Safety

Ensure section cleanliness according to HACCP, BRC, HALAL, and food safety requirements.
Enforce proper PPE usage and hygiene compliance.
Support QA/food safety team during audits and implement corrective actions as required.
Monitor operators’ adherence to sanitation and safety rules.

6. Continuous Improvement

Identify improvement opportunities in sorting accuracy, machine efficiency, and yield.
Suggest modifications to SOPs, machine settings, or workflows.
Reduce re-sorting cases to ≤ 2% through process optimization.

7. Other duties

Support cross-functional teams (QA, Maintenance, Warehouse) when needed.

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related fields.
Having 5–7 years of experience in food processing, preferably cashew or nut industry) and hands-on experience with color sorting machines (Meyer preferred).
Understanding of color sorting machine operations, calibration, defect detection.
Knowledge of food safety standards: HACCP, BRC, GMP, HALAL.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Basic computer literacy for reporting (Excel, Word).
Ability to train workers effectively and ensure SOP compliance.
Ability to work under pressure to meet production timelines.
