To strengthen our global sales network in Southeast Asia, we aim to establish a sales office in Vietnam. We are looking for a General Manager to join our international team and collaborate with us on innovative projects to make an impact on the future of our worlds roads.
Join the company with highly value adding tasks:
• Support the establishment and manage the subsidiary in Vietnam
• Set up and thoroughly maintain customer relations in Vietnam
• Development of business potentials with local customers for the Group, esp. for our Europe and Asian subs (CN, IN, JP, TL, etc.)
• Acquisition of projects in the field of automotive engineering services, light- and heavy duty, e.g. construction, calibration, mechanics and simulation, transmissions, software development, design, electrical systems and electronics, hybrids and e-mobility, vehicle and advanced applications, testing solutions, etc.
• Negotiation of projects: preparation and coordination of proposals and contracts in close collaboration with the business unit engineers and und key account managers of the Group
• Set up and maintain relevant internal contacts within the Group and networking with all of the subsidiaries (supported by HQ)

Qualifications:
• Diploma/Bachelor/ Master in Engineering, Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics
• Work experience in the automotive industry
• Experience in the field of technical sales of engineering development services
• Experience in preparation of proposals and relating documents highly preferable
Skills needed:
• Fluent in Vietnamese and English; German or further Asian language skills is a plus
• Experience in working with direct customer interaction, high customer orientation
• Self-confident appearance, excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills (especially to top management)
• Ability to work independently, flexible, willing to travel in- and outside Vietnam
• Network in the automotive industry is a strong advantage
• Good expertise in MS office programs, experience with ERP or CRM systems is a plus
