Consults with leadership team to set medium- to long-term strategic direction and operating plans for a medium to large complex market/manufacturing operation. Interprets industry trends, customer requirements, and business objectives to define guidelines/methods for multiple disciplines within the Human Resources function, such as benefits, compensation, staffing, organizational development, employee relations, operations, etc. Decisions are independently executed and limited by the objectives/guidelines of the business. Initiates and approves projects to continuously improve efficiency and competitiveness. Has direct responsibility for functional strategic planning, including establishing and managing budgets for one or more departments in the immediate organization or the next higher organizational tier. Approves assigned programs and budget deviations as well as overall resources to meet business objectives. Administer compensation, benefits and performance management systems, and safety and recreation programs. Ensuring compliance with legal, contractual or statutory procedures on personnel management such as recruiting, welfare benefits and work contract termination. A Bachelor level university/college degree is generally required. Master’s degree is preferred. In addition, a minimum of 10-12 years of relevant working experience in MNC is normally required. Expert/master knowledge and experience with the most current theories and practices in one or more related professional disciplines such as benefits, compensation, staffing, organizational development, employee relations, operations, etc. In addition, likely to have broad knowledge of multiple related disciplines. Knowledge of computer programs and corporate systems relevant to the assigned area of responsibility is normally required.
