• Degree qualified in Financial related areas, i.e. Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting
• Foreign education and work experience preferred
• Fluent communication in English (written and oral)
• Need to be adaptive and independent
• Concentration on objectives, task-driven with the ability to think on your feet, have proactive approach and work unsupervised
• Ability to develop cohesive work environment with team members
• Ability to develop a working knowledge of the Australian Superannuation, Financial Planning and Taxation Systems.
• Willingness to learn all areas of Financial Planning processes including Superannuation, Investments, Gearing, Retirement income, tax minimization strategies and personal insurance.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office applications and if possible, a working knowledge of XPLAN or at least experience in financial planning software
• Eager to take full responsibility for tasks assigned
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good written and verbal English communication skills, comprehensive skills in reading documents.
• Flexible and able to adapt to change
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills independently and the ability to self-adjustment.
• Honest, highly motivated, proactive, ability to multi-task
• Excellent team-player and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Competent at business consolidations an advantage – subsidiary’s, associates and JV’s
• Able to execute sets of agreed processes to ensure efficient, timely and accurate information delivery; experience in analysing ad-hoc issues
• Has the initiative to update policy documents, checklists, templates, and procedures
