Position summary:
The Personal Development Coach works with students, age 12-17, who is undergoing intense personal and educational developments to strike for international admission and Scholarships. This position is all about engaging and empowering ambitious students to thrive among their peers to compete on international level. You will meet with students to discuss their ambition, assess their abilities and together set S.M.A.R.T goals and strategy to make their dream comes true. You will need a set of coaching skills to help our students to foster both academic and personal developments by equip them with essential soft skills as well as building a reputable personal branding to best prepare for their student lives in the US, and all around the World.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Personal Development Coach, you’ll work with each student on an individual basis to formulate customized strategies. General duties of a Personal Development Coach are consisted of, but not limited to the followings:
- Provide individual coaching to our students using an GPA recognizable lesson plans, coaching methodology, and incorporating 360* peer feedback;
- Assess students’ strengths and flaws to craft a suitable personal development strategy for each student;
Discuss with students and their parents about personal development goals;
- Co-operate with parents in supervising and motivating students along their journey;
- Breathe life into students’ lesson plans with your own personal experiences and win students with your expertise;
- Inspire students to thrive academically and personally with positive thinking;
- Connect students with local community services and Student Project student-based
- Community and Talent Projects, further encourage students to lead their own project;
- Keep a records of development progress for each student and suggest adjustments as needed;
- Evaluate and report coaching outcomes to Program Manager and Students’ Parents;
- Facilitate coaching sessions for a group of 8-20 students;
- General administrative responsibilities associated with responsibilities listed above.
