As a member of the Student Care Officer, this role is responsible for providing efficient and effective student/customer service and administration assistance to relevant stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide administrative and clerical support services including filing and records management, mail, photocopying, ordering office supplies, as well as efficient handling of incoming and outgoing correspondence and phone calls;
- Collect and disseminate information in a timely and accurate manner on behalf of the executive administration support unit ensuring the highest level of confidentiality;
- Organise meetings and events, including arranging attendance of participants, set up and clean up, prepare and distribute relevant documentation, and transportation and catering where appropriate;
- Greet visitors and assist community, students and staff members with their enquiries
- Assist, as required, in organising and attending student social events, orientation programs, graduation ceremonies and open evenings when necessary
- Maintain local systems aligned with GPA procedures for student recording
- Recording of student absences, and details from medical certificates in keeping with GPA requirements
- Creation of attendance spread-sheets, recording and reporting of progressive weekly student attendance
- Write and email attendance warning letters to students and guardians where appropriate and keep records of such correspondence
- Create starters lists and lists for orientation; monitor student numbers and class sizes
- Work closely with Educational Advisor Team & Accountant to manage the enrolment process in terms of new enrolment & re-enrolment record and payment.
- Other administrative duties as required.
