I. Job Purpose: Conduct technical evaluation of potential sites available to assess technical viability for operating Circle K stores. Manage projects of constructing new stores from scratch as well as brand conversions for timely completion, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness of all relevant works and procurement of all machinery and equipment and store décor packages; and Oversee the provision of on-going high-quality repair and maintenance services for the premises and machinery/equipment of all stores. II. Job accountabilities: Conduct technical evaluation of all potential sites with the support of the Projects Team to assess whether the sites are viable for operating Circle K stores. Work with the Projects Team to ensure all aspects of new builds and brand conversions are properly managed within budget for expected quality and cost-effectiveness, covering the following key functions: Close co-ordination with Operations and Merchandising Teams for completing final layout of new stores; Supervision of new projects on site from time to time; Looking for new contractors with competitive prices; Updating of construction unit prices yearly to match market prices; On-site project review, a full assessment on the project scope, costs, process, schedule and preliminary marketing and design; Brand design for exterior including store architecture and brand signage; Equipment selection and pricing; Detailed project cost and schedule estimate; Equipment & signage procurement and installation management; and Ensuring all equipment issues and brand image defects are fixed. Manage key equipment vendors including specifications review, pricing, lead times, warranty and after care service. These vendors include the following key categories: Exterior signs, fascia systems, graphics and paint; Interior signs, image and décor components; Cabinet, cigarette backbar and gondola shelving systems; Walk-in cold vaults, cooler doors, beer caves and shelving systems Manage the Repair & Maintenance Team of technicians to provide timely and high-quality services for all R & M requirements of all stores. Increase professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing Financial and Key Result Area targets pursuant to Company planned guidelines.
