Summary:
Proactively executes and assists clients to drive rapid and sustainable release of cash from working capital identifying the key drivers of working capital improvement from inventory management, quantify this opportunity based on levers and provide recommendations on activities required to realize the cash.
Essential Functions of the Job – Experience in at-least 5 of the Areas Below:
1. Sales ( GT/MT) and Distribution (Channel/GTM) Management
2. Operations (Supply Chain & inventory management, Lean implementation, Operational review)
3. Sourcing and Procurement
4. Cash & Treasury Management (Best practices, roles and responsibilities advice)
5. Program management Office set-up and implementation
6. Supplier and Distributor Finance implementations
7. Inventory optimization and Forecast to Fulfill process and supply chain
8. Optimizing working capital/supply chain
9. Supports senior leadership in business development
Competencies
Technical knowledge & problem solving skills
Detailed understanding of Financial Statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Quantitative data analysis for standard WC elements like inventory, supply chain planning and material/information flow
Analyze and presents pros and cons the analysis, findings, recommendations and analysis
Displays a critical reading of financial statements, business models, notes to accounts and working capital related line items including schedules to statements
Demonstrates technical competence (supply chain tools, network modeling, operational analytical skills, report writing skills)
Demonstrates technical competence in an industry / specialized supply chain/logistics field
Identifies the best way to construct analysis, capture data & present findings
Write/Assist in thoroughly analyzed and structured findings in the reports
Can work proficiently on research databases
Maximizes own productivity level and efficiency by taking responsibility for managing own work schedule
Awareness of services that the practice provides and support in Brand Building
Networks internally within the peer group and other levels in the firm in order to gain understanding of opportunities/issues that may impact his/her clients
Assists Manager/ Sr. Manager in ideation and pitch preparation/ marketing materials/ credentials
Assists Manager/ Sr. Manager in ideation and preparation of material for presentation at any public forum/ newsletter/ any other thought leadership initiative, etc.
Develops Commercial Acumen and build rapport
Brings value to the client and manager by applying this knowledge in delivering solutions to clients
Develops Client business knowledge
Helps articulate the service offerings to local clients
Abreast with working capital trends through reports/newspaper and though leadership by competitors
