- Be responsible and Support to Q/A Manager to promote a top of the mind attitude for quality for all staff of Fashion Garments.
- Mainly responsible in meeting the customer quality standards of a garment and Maintain effective & efficient quality control procedures throughout the factory.
- Guide the Quality Checkers by providing them clear & accurate instructions to maintain customer quality standards.
- Prepare in advance Quality Control guide lines, listing out the types of defects to be looked into in respect of standards operations & adjust the guide lines with the Quality Assurance manager to satisfy the decisions taken at the pre production planning meetings.
- Responsible to ensure that the cut components with the pattern boards to ensure that the stitching points have been correctly placed.
- Ensure the accuracy of trims issued by the stores (thread, zippers, buttons, labels etc) with trim card.
- Daily preparation of reports which includes details of measurements, daily finished garments, garments to be finally checked, & garments sent to finishing department etc.
- Responsible for maintaining the accepted quality level, while evaluating the quality status of the garment.
- Defects found during the inline audit to be noted in the audit report & quality measurement report & forward these reports to Quality Assurance Manager on time to take necessary actions
- Coordinate with final Quality Checkers, Quality Control Supervisors, Production Executives, Production Supervisors & relevant personnel to resolve day to day Quality Issues & take necessary actions corrective & preventive actions on Quality issues.
- Manage & control the End line – Inline quality checkers to minimize re-work percentage
- Guide In-Line Quality checkers to sort out the good garments (Accordance with customer quality standards) out of sewn garments & hand over the damaged garments back to the relevant operator for repairs.
- Maintain the accurate data, statistics of the sewn garments & continuously update & forward to relevant parties whenever necessary.

- Status of the quality during the past month.
- How to identify & clear up bottle necks in advance
- Rejects quantity & percentage
- Methods to reduce the reject percentage.
- Ensure to meet the deliveries on time
- Ensure the proper functioning of the statistical process control System.
- Train & develop the subordinates to improve their performances, hidden talents & strengths & also develop backups to cover absenteeism.
- Ensure that the department area and the surrounding are maintained to the required standards of the organization.
- To ensure that your responsible unit is managed as per the company manuals and any other instructions given by superiors.
