Golf Operations Manager

- Purpose of Position: The Golf Operations Manager is responsible for the efficient day to day operation of the golf operations team and services.

- To supervise and monitor the day to day operations of the bag drop area, bag store, cart store and staging area, starter and player assistant. To assist the golf shop as required.
- To develop, implement and monitor operating policies and procedures for each area of the golf operations aimed at delivering the standard of service and operations expected.
- To support the Director of Golf to ensure the revenue and expenditure targets set in the operating budget are achieved.
- To train and develop golf operations personnel.
- To develop effective training strategies and session plans to ensure all golf operations areas provide the level of service and operating standards expected.
- Ensure all financial and human resource policies and procedures are implemented and followed by golf operations personnel.
- To monitor inventory levels reordering as appropriate to ensure sufficient stock is available at all times.
- Consolidate detailed utilisation data in a monthly and annual basis submitting reports to the General Manager as required.
- Stay in regular communication with the golf operations team to ensure the smooth running of the days operation dealing with any issues as they arise.
- Proactively approach golfers providing assistance if required.
- Ensure all working areas are kept in a clean and tidy manner.
* Other Duties
- To comply with all standards of performance, behaviour, and operational policies and procedures in place at the golf club at all times.
