Job overview
• To accomplish all the design work such as painting, decoration and graphic design for the purposes of the Marketing Section as well as other Departments in the Hotel.
Job description
• Responsible for the in-house point-of-sale materials such as monthly promotional posters, banners and leaflets derived from fact sheets of the respective F&B outlets, and ad-hoc announcement posters.
• Execute jobs in the form of Job Order, generated from Marcom Manager
• In charge of event promotion with Marcom Manager
• In the event that the Graphic Designer be briefed directly by any department personnel (in the absence of Marcom Manager), they would keep the manager informed. This is to ensure a smooth flow of work within the Marcom Team as deadlines must be drawn in respect to the urgency of each individual job.
• Work on the concept and execution for the design of any job. The copy text and relevant information will be provided by Marcom Manager concerned for any job.
• Perform any other duties which may be from time to time.

Job Overview
• Assist IT Manager for ensuring that the hotel computer system(s) are installed and operating properly, that system security measures are in place, that the computer hardware is well maintained, that the system(s) are utilized to their maximum potential, and that new systems are installed to improve hotel efficiency and profitability, and adhere to hotel and IHG standards and guidelines
2. Job description
• Assist Manager to monitor the operation of all computer hardware, ensures all systems are working and installed properly, and serves as the primary contact for servicing the computer hardware
• Ensures that all systems are covered by the proper maintenance contracts and that preventive maintenance is performed as required
• Maintain an up-to-date list of all computer hardware
• Monitors the performance of the software and maintains a log book of performance report eg; through systems measurement facility/utility, error and integrity check reports, system malfunction and solutions
• Installs and tests corporate approved program changes to the hotel computer system(s)
• Understand all standard and IHG customized features and functions of the Hotel front office system, point of sale system, and call accounting system, including, but not limited to system security, system reports, manager functions, system utilities and user functions
• Responsible for designating selected individuals for each IHG approved system that he/she will train so that these individual can train the users
• Ensures that all computer media saves and back-ups are completed, documented and stored per IHG specifications
• Maintains uncompromising data and physical security standards
• Controls the key/lock for computer room and ensures that the computer room fire protection, temperature control, and power requirements meet the IHG security specification as described in the IHG security system
• Under the direction of the Director/Manager of Finance and Business Support, administer all back office user ID’s, passwords, security parameters and the most sensitive utility
• Maintains technical and user documentation, systems reports, newsletters and announcements in a neat, orderly and secure fashion
• Performs special project/other duties as assigned by the Management, include but not limited to serve as a back-up in performing Financial Reporting to corporate office during the absence of Director/Manager of Finance and Business Support
• Performs basic changes to programs control languages using screen edit utilities, operating control languages statements and screen design aids
• Serves as the primary associate with all computer-related outside vendors
• Informs department heads when new features or changes to the system affect their department
• Coordinates purchase of program applications or enhancements to meet specific hotel needs only if these applications are not covered by existing standards prescribed by the corporate office

• Assists Manager in developing popular menus and beverage lists offering guests value for money in accordance with IHG guidelines.

• Conducts daily briefings, Food and Beverage Meetings and other meetings as needed to obtain optimal results
• Attends and participates to other meetings as required by the administrative calendar
• Assists Manager in keeping an up-dated Hotel Policies and Procedures file and up-dated files on all Food and Beverage matters
• Assists Manager in setting Food and Beverage goals and developing strategies, procedures and policies
• Assists Manager in determining the minimum and maximum stocks of all food, beverage, material and equipment
• Assists Manager in settings standards of all food, Beverage and equipment purchases in accordance with IHG guidelines
• Participates in the preparation of the hotels revenue plan and marketing programs
• Monitors local competitors and compare their operation with the hotel Food and Beverage operation
• Maintains knowledge of trends, systems, practices and equipment in food and beverage through trade literature, hotel show and site visits
• Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
• Works with Manager on manpower planning and management needs
• Works with Manager in the preparation and management of the Department’s budget

Job Summary – (Role Summary)
To manage sales activities and events in line with the annual sales and marketing plan and to achieve/exceed budget and sales strategy for your hotel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities – (Key Activities of the role)
- Monitors competitors activities and assists in marketing intelligence
- Sells to new, existing and prospective customers considering goals set forth in the sales strategy, negotiating optimum rate for the benefit of the business
- Services existing business through management of account bases
- Develop and maintain a regular pattern of sales calls,
- Develops and maintains contact with business generators, meeting and convention planners, visitors/convention bureau, travel agents, tour operators, airlines, corporate accounts, Government Departments and other producers closely allied to Hotel business
- Maintains contact with planners, corporate accounts, incentive buyers, airlines and wholesalers, through personal sales calls, telephone contacts and written communications
- Provides direction on, and conducts market research and analysis
- Manages key accounts
- Produces monthly Sales reports and forecasts
- Establishes and continuously updates mailing lists
- Organizes and attends major sales/PR related functions within the hotel
