The Marketing and Communications Manager (MCM) promotes the 7-¬Eleven® brand awareness and other key brand assets like Slurpee® in Viet Nam. The MCM will develop and implement a marketing and communications strategy across a range of reactive and strategically planned opportunities in print, media, events, online and within each individual store in chain, to boost store sales as well as to build customer loyalty in the long run. The MCM also serves as liaison to connect with customers, community and the media to increase the influence and visibility of 7-¬Eleven® in Vietnam.
I. Conceive brand building strategies and marketing campaigns to drive incremental sales
II. Uphold brand image and trademark standards and usage across all internal and external channels
III. Coordinate with all relevant departments to execute marketing and promotion campaigns across offline and online channels
IV. Manage a team to create marketing materials including in-store POSM, product images for digital posts and other advertising channels (TVC, banners, outdoor signage)
V. Oversee administration, operation, and use of the Companys Facebook as appropriate marketing channel and medium to connect to customers
VI. Monitor performance and efficiency of 7REWARDS loyalty program
VII. Plan and organize new store openings, offline marketing events and community activities
VIII. Work with key partners regarding co-branding activities and marketing efforts
IX. Oversee corporate communications and public relations function
X. Maintaining strong relationships with the press and media and develop crisis management strategy, as required
XI. Resolve escalated customer service issues
XII. Oversee Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program

I. Have understanding and knowledge of industry trends; public relations; effective, contemporary marketing methods and techniques using online and offline channels
II. Critical thinking with strong oral and written communication skills
III. Analytical, with the ability to interpret information, news, data and research quickly – and be able to elicit the most important/relevant information to convey new, original, creative but also practical marketing contents and ideas
IV. Proven negotiation and influencing skills
V. Creative thinker with proven campaign experience
VI. Strong planning, organization and time-management skills with a collaborative mindset
VII. Experience in leadership is required as the MCM will be leading the current Marketing department
VIII. Bachelors degree in Marketing or 3 years of relevant experience in field
IX. Fluency in both Vietnamese and English is required, fluency in Japanese is a plus
