Role Overview:
Visual merchandisers maximize visual impact to convert window shoppers into prospects, encourage customer to buy more, drive branding and sales performance, maximize profitability and reduce stock across core lingerie and sub-categories and provide an excellent in-store experience.
Responsibilities:
o Monitor competitor activity, research best practices within industry and research lifestyle, demographics and trends in visual displays and merchandising techniques to apply learnings brands’ shop visual standards; propose new/ innovative ideas to ensure the brand presence is in line with global trends and making sure merchandising initiatives meet the market needs and appeal to the target audience.
o Cooperation with Brand Marketing team, Store Manager and Merchant team to generate visual merchandising (VM) strategy and visual merchandising standards which uphold with brand identity; determine the floor layout, traffic flow and display points
o Seeking feedback from colleagues and customers on the visual impact of displays and implementing changes.
o Preparing visual merchandising packs, including plans, guidelines and photographs, for all type of stores, to make sure all displays present a consistent image
o Creating window displays, signs, interior displays, floor plans, special promotions displays, mannequin dressing guidelines and eye-catching visual displays that support assortment making use of creative lighting
o Deliver the Visual Display calendar in a timely manner: Analyze and forecast the décor needs of the POS; place orders and ensure subsequent follow up until delivery.
o Ensure Point of Sale is implemented according to brand standards
o Maximize sales opportunities through commercial analysis and re-merchandising accordingly
o Installing and dismantling displays, using available space to the best advantage and maintaining stock levels
o Change displays to promote new product launches and reflect festive or seasonal themes
o Pilot the major events and store openings. Give agreement with brand mkt team for designing displays, stands and panels for exhibitions, conferences and other events.
o In link with brand marketing team, merchandise team & sales team to develop themes and display for seasonal image, POP/POSM for all brands - for example Christmas, Valentines day, sales and special promotions. Coordinate all aspects of the seasonal campaign including in-store materials as well as window specific materials.
o Collect relevant information from the POS with regards to the life of merchandising tools and buying behaviors, in order to optimize the development of more suitable merchandising tools.
o Conduct regular store visits/floor walks and liaise with the store based staff to implement merchandising requirements.
o Train the store based members on the visual merchandising standards. Visiting stores to train, brief staff, check and control on arranging displays and execution of the visual concept.
o Generate display concept and searching fixture for new product/new categories.
o Sourcing materials and display elements, such as lighting, props, furniture and accessories. To work with suppliers: Acquire quotation from suppliers, place purchase orders, overseeing the production of the chosen design, checking the quality, making sure the project is completed to schedule and deploying to sales points.
o Monitor VM spend within budget and manage the maintenance of VM assets
o Support the visual merchandising process for Retail environments including Takashimaya, Robin, strategic partners, etc.
o Likely to work weekends and late evenings as major display installations often take place when the store is closed to minimize disruption to customers and staff.

Requirements:
o Will have exceptional Brand awareness and Assortment Understanding
o Previous experience working for a beauty, cosmetic or fashion brand across multiple channels (department store, open sell, boutique) and will be able to demonstrate clear creative, imaginative and energetic vision with a strong portfolio.
o Have a strong commercial mindset, and a solid understanding of VM techniques.
o Strong technical knowledge of display engineering and manufacturing
o Experience with purchasing and negotiations
o Strong communication (written, oral, presentation) and interpersonal skills; able to build effective relationships with multiple brand stakeholders and cross-functional partners
o Strong organizational, time management skills; process-oriented; problem solving skills; high attention to detail
o Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
o Proficient in all PC/Office/MAC applications, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design tools. A good working knowledge of Photoshop/Quark/PowerPoint would be helpful with 3D rendering skills.
o Willing to travel
