Education
• Master’s degree in educational psychology, special education, higher education administration, counseling, social work, psychology, or related field.
or
• Master’s degree TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Second Language Studies or Education and 2 years’ experience working with students with disabilities.
Experience
• 3 years of experience in educating and supporting students with disabilities, English as a foreign language instruction, English writing instruction (e.g. composition), academic advising, or learning/academic skills support
Preference will be given to candidates with education or experience in all three of the following areas: English language instruction, academic/learning support, and disability education.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Fluency in English language is required
• Fluency in Vietnamese language is preferred
• Demonstrated ability of working with a wide variety of individuals and teams
• Strong alignment with Fulbright’s educational mission and a passion for education and learning process
• Knowledge and understanding of assistive software/adaptive technology are preferred
• Knowledge of disabilities legislation in Vietnamese and/or North American context is preferred
