- Conduct Design Reviews during each phase of the design for constructability, economy, construction duration, based on executable sound construction practices, and submit comprehensive review comments in a timely manner. This also includes timely cooperation with colleagues and Design Consultants for the resolution of design review comments.
- Perform pre-construction, construction and post-construction inspection works, ensuring the works are correctly implemented, inspections are properly performed & documented, works are completed correctly and in accordance with the designers’ intent, approved documents, shop drawings, materials submittals, method statements, and maintain inspection & QA/QC records of all works, and corresponding reports are timely submitted. Ensure all inspections are properly logged into the Project Management System.
- Cooperate with Senior Supervisors, and Contractors to create ITP Inspection Forms from Scope of Works and Method Statements. Ensure proper execution of inspection program with Construction Manager, Senior Supervisors and Contractors.
- Conduct and participate in ITP inspections and assure accuracy of pass or fail and proper documentation of test results. Liaise with CQC Consultant to assure complete records are timely created.
- Participate in the review of design and construction documents to obtain a clear understanding of the project scope and requirements. Develop lists of questions and concerns as required to discuss with Project Director / Project Manager, Construction Manager and Senior Supervisors. May directly coordinate with Design consultants for the early resolution of design review comments / RFIs.
- Attend and keep records/minutes of regular weekly or bi-weekly (twice a week) coordination meetings and other meetings with Contractors and/or Design Consultants to effectively manage and efficiently control work progress, quality of work, conformance to construction schedule and proper coordination of works of other building trades.

- Review Drawings, Specifications and anticipate potential problems and propose feasible solutions to mitigate defects and - Review and approve the Construction Method Statement submitted by the Contractor for accuracy, feasibility and safety in implementation, and prior to execution of the actual works. Coordinate with Construction Manager and Senior Supervisor to facilitate the required action.
- Review and check the shop drawings for the accuracy of its content, and that all proposed works conform to design intent, drawings and specifications, and properly coordinated with other trades.
- Ensure all construction works comply with Contract Documents, approved submittals such as shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and other relevant documents.
- Produce sketches and drawings to explore design alternates and “what-if” scenarios as required by the Project Director/ Project Manager and Construction Manager.
- Assist the Construction Manager and Senior Supervisors with reviews of Contract Documents and Contractors’ Work Program, anticipate potential problems and propose feasible solutions to mitigate delays, defects and non-conformances, as requested by Project Director / Project Manager.
- Assist the Commercial Department Team / Quantity Surveyors in the preparation of Bills of Quantities and evaluation of Contractors’ IPCs.
- Enforce Health, Safety, Environment & Security (HSES) Plan of the project.
- Monitor and ensure repairs/close-out of Non-Conformance Reports and Project Manager’s Instructions within approved time frame.
- Maintain up to date records for the status of the actual works daily.
- Witness Material Testing and secure test reports.
- Conduct plant visits as required for the works, and timely prepare and submit corresponding reports.
- Review and check Inspection & QA/QC Documents, As-built Drawings, Operating and Maintenance Manuals.
- Prepare Daily and Weekly Activity Reports and one (1) week look-ahead schedule for submission to Project Director / Project Manager and Construction Manager.
- If required, liaise with 3rd Party Certifying Bodies, Utility Companies and Government Agencies to secure necessary Building Certificates and Quality Tests Certificates and other relevant documents.
- Other duties and tasks that are deemed necessary to effectively perform the functions and responsibilities and diligently deliver the required for the works

- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in either Construction Management, Architecture, Civil or Structural Engineering.
- At least five (5) years of continuous experience in QA/QC activities for Architectural, Civil, Structural, Interiors, Landscaping for Building Design and Construction.
- Has been directly involved from the start until completion of the construction of at least two (2) projects as Site Engineer, or QA/QC Field Inspector or Construction Supervisor or Inspector or Coordinator. Must be proficient in the use of Computer, MS Office, MS Project and Autocard software. Must be familiar with all Contract Documents, Mail/ Correspondence Types and Project Management Forms
