Trusting Social is a Fintech and AI company that pioneers alternative credit scoring for emerging markets using telecom data and other new data sources. We aim to provide 1 billion credit scores to the unbanked consumers who currently do not have access to formal credit. We target emerging markets worldwide, with the initial focus on Southeast Asia and India. In Vietnam, Trusting Social currently provides credit scores to 60 million Vietnamese consumers. The Job

Key Job Responsibilities :
A Data engineer in TrustinSgocial works on the data pipeline infrastructure that is veritably the backbone of our business. In a days job you would be writing elegant functional SCALA code to crunch TBs of data on Hadoop clusters, mostly using Spark. In a weeks job, you would be owning a data pipeline deployment to clusters : on-prem or AWS or Azure or more. In a months job, you would be managing Hadoop clusters right from security to reliability to HA. Did we mention we are building a pluggable,unified data-lake from scratch? Enterprise Software team :
Currently, Trusting Social provides two main products: consumer credit score API for banks, and B2C loan marketplace that connects banks with consumers.
Enterprise software team is responsible for the following areas:
1.Telco-side software solutions:
•Design and develop Big Data and software solutions such as Hadoop, Spark, GPU computing, and SMS gateways to be deployed on-premise in MNOs data centers
•Collaborate and negotiate with MNOs functional teams (data, IT and compliance) to adapt and implement our software to their specific requirements
•Manage on-going relationship with MNOs functional teams
•Develop software to monitor system performance and be responsible for system stability
2.Bank-side software solutions:
•Design and develop credit scoring and lead generation APIs for FIs and other clients (banks, insurance companies, e-commerce sites)
