- The ASEAN Business Development Manager reports to the ASEAN Sales Director
- Geographical scope: ASEAN countries excluding Vietnam, within active countries: Philippines-Singapore-Cambodia-Indonesia- Thailand, to be extended to furthermore ASEAN countries depending Strategy.
- Aligned with ASEAN Region targets and Marketing/Sales Strategies, the ABDM develops the sustainable/profitable Sales Business for the defined key ASEAN countries, out of Vietnam, to reach the Operational targets given by ASEAN Sales and Marketing Directors.
- Propose and be active actor of ASEAN countries (he/she is in charge) Budget process (Year- MTP,..)
- Manages, challenges the Customers/Distributors for assigned ASEAN countries within assigned Sales Budgets.
- Proposes, manages and lead RTM strategies for market or category plan/objectives in short-middle-long term.
- Accountable for Volume, CAN & Margin objectives and value chain consistency across dedicated ASEAN countries within frame/targets given by ASEAN Sales Director (Volume – GtN) and Marketing Director (A&P , portfolio priorities,…)
- Accountable for supporting/animating/ managing distributors to achieve & deliver a monthly/yearly local sell out target across countries/region/channel
- Manage coordination with all internal BEL stakeholders: Sales – Marketing – Supply Chain – Finance, Regulatory – Industrial & Quality
- Responsible for advising/managing/optimizing implementation of all trade activities on dedicated active ASEAN markets through distributors.
- Responsible for advising/optimizing weight and numeric distribution / coverage per Distributor, countries under his/her assignment.
- In charge of ASEAN Export KPI’s, involving and leveraging distributors, in monthly S&OP’s meetings
- In charge of supporting distributors to provide accurate rolling forecast monthly / M+3 Yearly aligned with ASEAN Supply chain teams and Distributors/market demand.
- Responsible to ensure “healthy” stock management (shipment vs LS) providing weekly/monthly report to Sales Director / Marketing/ SC (Shipment and local sales) for dedicated ASEAN countries.
- Drive distributors to ensure our ASEAN Sales & Marketing strategies are implemented properly by our distributors
- Build, strengthen and professionalize the network of Distributors (permanently assess and challenge current ones, and, in case of business risk, recommend any optimized set up if necessary, …)
- Implement tools, processes and relevant trainings to ensure best efficiency of our distributors.
- Aligned with BEL ASEAN Marketing Management, Manage, assess, challenge, recommend most accurate SKU portfolio by country, Distributor, channel.
- Align, monitor & Coordinate between BEL ASEAN & Distributors Quality and Regulatory teams to facilitate and anticipate quality issues solving
