1. To manage daily operation of the stores to ensure smooth running with achievement of sales target and deliver the highest level of service including but not limited to:
• Devise and implement sales and merchandising plans and strategies to achieve sales and profit targets of the department(s);
• Manage and motivate sales team to increase sales volume;
• Provide training and coaching alongside with HR Dept. to maintain sales service at required level;
• Conduct On-The-Job training; to ensure that all staff and promoters provide the highest level of service to customers; adhere to company’s regulations and grooming standards;
• Support sales floor operations; to lead and motivate staff and promoters in carrying out their duties effectively and efficiently in order to achieve profit & sales and stock targets;
• Prepare and analyze sales reports; prepare budget reports and any other (expense) reports required by the Company;
• Conduct sales floor inspection on a regular basis (i.e. monthly/ weekly/ daily) to identify and solve urgent or arising issues;
• Check and control stocks;
• Handle customer complaints or inquiries;
• Plan and execute renovation plan(s) for department(s);
• Plan and organize merchandise purchase and delivery schedule from overseas buying trips.
2. To manage brands by:
• Conduct market research and analysis on competitors’ stores;
• Evaluate sales performance of each brand;
• Negotiate with suppliers for the most favorable terms and conditions;
• Plan and develop effective and efficient sourcing and procurement systems, source and procure merchandise;
• Set-up brand selection procedure and propose in/out brands;
• Check and control product quality, quantity and origins;
• Control visual merchandising of each brand;
3. To plan and manage the department’s P&L:
• Analyze and interpret trends to facilitate planning;
• Monitor sales figures and forecast future sales;
• Create business plan and sales target for the department(s);
• Make plans to achieve the sales target;
• Manage and control effectively operating expenses (including manpower expenses)
4. To collaborate with Advertising & Promotion Division to conduct marketing activities:
• Determine marketing strategy changes;
• Organize promotions programs, special displays and events;
• Analyze and evaluate sales result after each program;
5. To comply with the Company’s rules and regulations. Any act for bribes and the Company’s information leaking out is totally unacceptable.
6. To undertake any other activities required of the post holder by the Company;
