Our clients are software companies that sell high value (e.g. design, architectural) software to companies (B2B).
Throughout the world (Vietnam is no exception) there are companies that use pirate versions of software to avoid paying software license fees. Such pirate usage represents a large sales opportunity for those software companies. ITCA and its team identifies pirate usage, approaches the users and works to secure revenue from them for their usage of that software.
We are seeking a Software Sales Manager for Vietnam who can drive revenue on behalf of our software clients from pirate users of their software in that territory. You will be part of our dynamic APAC team and will expand our capacity and business in Vietnam and other countries in the APAC region. This function will report directly to the Regional Director APAC.
ITCA is fast-growing (at a rate of 50% per year) Netherlands-based business founded in 2005. The APAC team is an important part of the 70 people strong company worldwide. We would like you to be in Ho Chi Minh or Hanoi, but other locations will be considered including candidates living outside Vietnam.
You will have experience of uncovering software sales opportunities and methodically pursuing those opportunities to close a sale. You will be able to deliver your own sales quota, but also to build a team over time and manage that team, as our business in the territory grows. ITCA takes a share of the revenue won for its clients and you (and your team) will share in that revenue won.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Identifying opportunities, initiating software usage reviews and engagements with end-users, undertaking audits and negotiating agreements with end-users to pay for their software usage;
- In the case of some opportunities, initiating legal procedures in close cooperation with government authorities and ITCA and external experts; and
- Expanding ITCA’s business opportunities and broaden our relationship network in Vietnam.
You will be an independent consultant paid a competitive monthly base salary with an attractive sales incentive plan based on the value of software licenses concluded for our clients.
Analyze, correlate and evaluate sales opportunities;
Engage with end-users through a sales cycle;
Perform research and/or direct the ITCA investigators to qualified leads;
Update the opportunity management and information system;
Compile and present monthly reports on progress and results;
Expand and train local resources and develop partnerships with relevant authorities and other stakeholders;
Build the Vietnam organization including managing staff; and
Direct client communication.
