KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

THE ROLE
The position is responsible for managing RMIT Vietnams media relations in Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding cities and provinces. This includes planning and creating content in line with communications objectives and strategic plans, responding to media enquiries, coordinating media presence at University events and all media activities on campus, and providing consultation to internal departments and centres about media relations and interests. The position is in charge of media monitoring and analysis, including generating monthly and ad hoc reports on media coverage of RMIT Vietnam and emerging issues and trends.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead on the creation and dissemination of media interested content, including but not limited to media releases, news about staff and student achievements, news about sports and community activities held by RMIT Vietnam.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Saigon South campus to initiate and execute strategies that leverage media coverage of RMIT Vietnam. Ensure timely and appropriate response to media enquiries to promote the University and staff/student activities.
Provide pro-active and professional monitoring and analysis of RMIT Vietnams presence on print, broadcast and online media.
Manage appropriate maintenance of information archives and filing systems including media contacts in Customer Relations Management (CRM) system and photo library. Conduct a regular evaluation of media contacts and channels, including a monthly media activity report and analysis.
Act as an expert source of information about communications and media in Saigon South campus for various activities.
Develop and manage media plan and budget for important occasions and major University activities, including but not limited to scholarship results announcement, graduation, international conferences and Vietnam Journalism Day.
Provide editorial support to the Press Office, including source and write stories, and take photos/ videos for newsletters and websites.
Coordinate all requests sent to communications mailbox, including but not limited to filming and photo shooting on campus, promoting services and products to staff and students, sponsoring events, conducting research as part of a degree requirements. Coordinate campus tours for media agencies and other key stakeholders (ie. local and foreign universities, government authorities.
Develop guidelines and scope of work for communications interns as well as providing supervision, coaching and evaluation to their performance.

THE ROLE
The Start Up Lead and Facilitator is a key member of the larger Activator initiative of RMIT with its head office in Melbourne, Australia.
Activator Vietnam will work closely across all parts of RMIT including all Schools, Learning and Teaching, Industry and Engagement as well as Careers, to build a platform that will (i) foster entrepreneurial mindsets for our students and alumni; (ii) assist them to form their own businesses should they wish to; and (iii) build a connected network to expand entrepreneurial opportunities for our cohort.
As the Start Up Lead and Facilitator you will be responsible for delivering a range of educational experiences, based on programs and structure created by our Melbourne team, in the context of enterprise and entrepreneurial skills. The Start Up Lead and Facilitator will be innovative within the face-to-face learning space and will continually strive to deliver valuable and engaging learning experiences. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

THE ROLE
The Data and Reporting Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Registrar team at RMIT Vietnam and other people across global RMIT through extracting, collating and making sense of data held in the various student record systems, and developing key reports. The position will be located within the Vietnam Academic Governance and Quality team and will support statistical and compliance reporting, help to identify trends, and participate in initiatives to improve student lifecycle processes and the student experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain processes to manage requests for student data in a transparent and secure way that ensures a clear record of inquiry, appropriate prioritisation, and compliance with privacy and confidentiality requirements.
Collect, collate, synthesise and report on relevant student data in relation to the student lifecycle, including enrolments, tuition payments, student attrition, transfers, student attainment and completions, in order to provide insights, identify trends and support student lifecycle process improvement at the Vietnam campus.
Support ad hoc requests from global RMIT stakeholders and work with academic Schools in Vietnam to provide reports in relation to student lifecycle behaviour and course and program issues based on available student data.
Run SQL queries and apply tools to manage data sets and display key data visually and with clarity. Use scripts and tools to develop repeatable and automated report production.
Support compliance reporting, audits, accreditation and program review processes in terms of student data, including running complex queries and coordinating reports. Collaborate with Finance, RMIT Analytics & Insights, ITS and others to review and validate data as needed.
Provide recommendations in relation to student system search query improvements and to address data issues; support the Registrar team with development requests for student systems and undertake relevant UAT.
Assist the Academic Governance and Quality team at RMIT Vietnam to support student systems, course and program administration and quality work as required.
Provide advice and support in relation to data transfer from SRS to Melbourne systems and support transition work towards a future ERP.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Bachelors or master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics).
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in data management, including the experience working with databases and data collection at project and organisation levels.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency writing SQL queries and using Excel and pivot tables; experience in SPSS and working with large data sets preferred.
Experience with Word, Excel, Access and Visio and making data meaningful to different audiences.
Skill in technical writing and capability to present data in various report formats, including data visualisation capability.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

THE ROLE
The Senior Coordinator Course and Program Administration (CPA) is responsible for providing a high level of service and expertise in the development and management of processes and systems relevant to all aspects of course and program administration, in order to help provide RMIT students with the best possible experience concerning the administrative aspects of their program.
The position will work closely with staff in the Registrar’s Group and with senior staff in Academic Schools. In addition, the position will work with a wide range of staff at RMIT Melbourne to ensure adequate and timely support of RMIT Vietnam operations, and to ensure compliance and alignment with relevant policies and frameworks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, maintain and publish processes, guidelines, and planning documents concerning course and program administration (CPA) at RMIT Vietnam. Provide expert advice regarding relevant policies and frameworks and develop and implement strategies to ensure a high level of compliance.
Collaborate with and advise Schools, senior academics and relevant committees concerning the lifecycle of courses and programs offered at RMIT Vietnam, ensuring quality standards and compliance requirements are met.
Collaborate with stakeholders across global RMIT on course and program development and improvement projects (such as new programs, double degrees, process and policy reviews, etc.).
Provide Schools and senior academics with training, documentation and guidance concerning regular academic planning processes; maintain oversight to ensure academic planning is completed and relevant information is published and available in a timely manner.
Configure courses, programs and program structures on the Student Records System (SRS) and Online Enrolment System (OES), ensuring students are provided with the best possible enrolment experience. Facilitate class scheduling and course and program configuration on Melbourne based systems.
Provide guidance and advice on the development of program transition plans for students impacted by changes to programs, majors and minors.
Build and maintain productive relationships with CPA counterparts in Melbourne as well as Colleges, Schools and support services across global RMIT for matters related to course and program administration

Role & key responsibilities
We seek a casual/hourly Lecturer or Associate Lecturer to join the teaching team for the course Vietnamese for Professional Communication. This course refines and develops a students ability to communicate effectively in Vietnamese language in a range of professional contexts. The course supports students to master the formal conventions of various modes of professional communication that new Professional Communication graduates are likely to encounter including employment applications and interviews, oral presentations, leading discussions and professional writing for reports and other common forms of organisational communication. This is the only course of the Professional Communication program that is taught in Vietnamese and therefore the preferred candidate will have a high level of Vietnamese language proficiency including the use of creative Vietnamese language in both oral and written forms.

THE ROLE
Digital Marketing Lead is responsible for developing and implementing digital strategy, planning and online marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, consideration and student enrolment growth for RMIT Vietnam. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement and monitor digital strategy and tactics for online marketing communications in line with Strategic Marketing Plan for the purpose of driving awareness, consideration and student enrolment growth for RMIT University Vietnam
Develop content planning and strategy for all online platforms, for prospective students and parents, ensuring the content across different platforms, aligns consistently with the key communication frameworks.
Conception, setup, launch, monitoring and optimization for online student recruitment campaigns (mostly on Facebook and Display adsets) to generate leads and increase conversion rates. Some campaigns need coordination with Internal/External Communication team and RMIT Hanoi marketing team to optimize the effectiveness in term of resources and budgets.
Lead the activation for RMIT’s Postgraduate (PG) programs through online channels to maximize program awareness and drive consideration. Duties include:
- Develop monthly content plan for PG social fan page, in coordination with Marketing team in HN campus and with the English Senior Writer to ensure a good engagement rate
- Drive specific online campaigns for PG by strengthening awareness and generate new leads
- Nurture leads in database at key milestones to increase conversion rates
Hands-on analysis and manipulation of data to continuously improve conversion rates and ROI
Update competitor’s digital marketing activities on a monthly basic.
Develop SEO/SEM plan, in working with Marketing Web manager, to drive traffic to landing page.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A - General
- Develop and maintain strong relationship and networks with both internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to RMIT staffs, vendors, suppliers and tax authorities;

B - Accounts Payable
- Enter source transactions in proper General Ledger accounts, reconcile bank transactions with the books, and make adjusting journal entries in consultation with Accounting Manager.
- Manage for all transactions relating to Corporate Credit card including payment, credit card issuance and related credit card matter.
- Manage University’s cash position to ensure that day to day banking functions are completed and all payment requirements are met.
- Monitor the issuance of cheques to staff who have overseas travel and the safeguard of any unused cheques.
- Prepare weekly report on cash position at the bank.
- Liaise with relevant bank/credit card agent when appropriate.
- Other tasks assigned by supervisor.
C - Control and Compliance
- Manage all payment records in accordance with university policies and procedures due process to ensure clean audits for account payable function

THE ROLE
The primary function of this role is to support the daily activities of the Alumni and Mentoring team in the delivery of mentoring programs that will position students to be successful in clarifying and achieving their career goals, including hosting mentoring events, workshops and seminars, responding to enquiries both via phone and electronically and running communication campaigns to promote mentoring programs
The International Alumni & Mentoring Officer is also responsible for supporting Alumni Relations in the delivery of a range of alumni engagement events, communications and other initiatives in Vietnam and in the region, maintaining accurate alumni information on the RMIT alumni database, as well as administrating various social media and web platforms.
The position will also assist the Careers and Industry Relations activities as and when required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure Alumni database is updated and aligned with international database system
Report on mentoring and alumni statistics and activities when required
Collaborate closely with peers in Melbourne as well as RMIT Vietnam internal stakeholders including but not limited to the Employment team, Advisory team, Alumni team, Student Life and academic schools to communicate accurately alumni and mentoring policies and seek collaborations for the programs.
Support the coordination and delivery of mentoring and alumni engagement activities (including but not limited to events, workshops, social activities, networking) at RMIT Vietnam campuses as well as other locations as required (other provinces or cities in Vietnam and/or in Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar depending on the University strategy and transition activities). This includes high level inter-campus administrative support, event planning and other tasks.
Develop and grow the mentoring program in Singapore in collaboration with team at SIM and with the guidelines of Melbourne alumni team
Under direction, support the publications, electronic communications and social media, develop and produce marketing material including digital and print content for alumni and mentoring projects

THE ROLE
The position is responsible for the development and administration of programs to maximise the engagement of students in university life. Reinforce and maintain an effective exposure of branding and up-to-dated information about Student Activities and Student Life in Hanoi campus on various channels and in alignment with Saigon South team.
Facilitate relevant activities to on-going recruit, manage and maintain a highly committed cohort of student volunteers to ensure their quality of contributing work, students learning experiences and nurture students’ healthy community-driven mindset via RED branding activities, internal bonding activities and other relevant projects.
Facilitate training programs to enhance student volunteers self development, leadership and healthy community-driven mindset via effective management pool, performance tracking, two-way feedback system, peer assessment, recognition system, etc.
Support the implementation of relevant training and development opportunities for Volunteers and club executives especially in relation to health & safety and risk mitigation. Update and maintain student Volunteer Database and relevant reports.
In consultation with Student Activities Coordinator, monitor budgets, maintains accurate budget balances, records, statements and accounts; prepares reports; review and audit financial transactions spent for student volunteer program and communication activities.
Assist in the delivery of other RMIT Student Life activities and events, from large-scale events to weekly activity sessions.
